Cards for Troops Packaging
by: PaperCraftCentral Susan

Hi Deb

Thank you so much for contributing to the Cards for Troops Drive in the past and for being willing to do it again in 2020!

It's great to have questions about how ew mail out all our card donations.

We do only send one mailing of cards per year, so all cards need to get to me anytime between April 1st 2020 and 30th September 2020. That means you can send them all together if you wish, or in smaller batches if you like.

We send cards for all occasions in our annual mailing.

We also make sure each card and envelope are packaged individually in cellophane bags so they are protected till someone chooses that card to write in.

We like to send mixed packs of cards in lots of 40 or 50 in large, ziplock plastic bags (see picture above).

We then weigh the bags of cards and add another packet of 40 - 50 cards to make the weight of the cards, boxes and tape used to seal the boxes weigh less than 2kgs. This is how the Military asks for cards to be mailed to them.

I hope this helps you decide how to package your cards for us. Do ask for more information if you have more questions.

Thanks again for contributing and for asking about how the Drive works!
