Hi Susan

Here's another one of the chocolate slider cards we made at our church craft group.

Hi Desire

I really like the way you all made these so differently! Thank you again for sharing your pretty slider cards with us at PaperCraftCentral.com

I love seeing your work, Desire. Let me know if you make some more of these.

Susan

PS: The featured card handmade by Desire is of course a chocolate thank you slider card. I hope everyone can see that they can customise their own chocolate favour cards to suit their own needs.

I made one for a birthday, for instance, and I can see how they would make lovely wedding table favours if you made them from papers to suit your wedding theme and colours. You could even customise the wrapper on the chocolate bar with a special thank you message for your wedding guests.

And the slider can then become a message holding bookmark perhaps after the chocolate has been eaten.

You can make other thank you gifts and wedding decorations with paper and imagination. Here are some ideas you might like to try out for yourself:

Enjoy your papercrafting and please do share your items with me here when you have finished a special project or two.

Hi Susan

As promised here are some of the project our group did this last year.

The chocolate favour boxes were very popular - one of our ladies bought a chocolate making kit with wrappers etc and designed her boxes around the size of her home-made chocolates - very chic.

Hi Desire

It is so good to see the chocolate slider cards your church craft group members made in the past year! Thank you so much for sending me some descriptions and pictures of them. Please do thank your creative members for me. I just love seeing how people take the ideas I put up on PaperCraftCentral and make them fit their own special occasions ;)

Thank you again!

Susan

PS: If any readers would like to make your own customised sliders for any sized chocolate bar, here are the instructions on PaperCraftCentral.com:

Candy Bar Favours

You could make some up to have on hand as gifts at Christmas, for example, and give them to unexpected visitors to cheer their day. Sliders would also make a good gift for a hospital patient who is allowed to have chocolate.

You can of course make other types of candy favours for parties and special events. Here are a few more ideas to spark your creativity:

Have fun making sweet gifts!
