Happy Birthday Card

Happy Birthday Card

Hi Susan,

Just thought you might like to see this card I also made for our grandson, Carter. It has the little balloons from Stampin' Up that I adore !

Also incorporated are little dolphin beads and tiny shells from our beach at Yeppoon that I collected years ago. You never know when you might use something.

I love this card. I also made the handmade paper with my sister from Darwin when she was here with me one year.

Regards,

Colleen Green

Oh Colleen, this is just beautiful.

What a special card you have made.

The handmade paper is so special!

The shells are a great touch and it is lovely to see found items being used on a handmade card. Knowing where they are from makes them even more significant. They alone can bring back memories for anyone who has spent good times on your beach.

I love the crab caught in the net!

The Stampin' Up! balloon really sets your card off, making it a 3-d card.

I imagine you hand delivered this one to your grandson. It would have been hard to place it in an ordinary envelope for mailing, but maybe you made a special box to mail it in?

Thank you so much for sharing your delightful card, Colleen.

Happy cardmaking!
