3D Origami Horse.

by Donna

Hi

My name is Donna and I have just recently started doing 3D origami.

I was looking for a horse to make and came across one on Pinterest, but there was only the one picture. I was wondering if there was a diagram or maybe more pictures I could look at. I am also sending along the picture that I found on Pinterest.

Thank you for your time and I hope you can help me with this.

Hi Donna

Wow, that is some horse! I am afraid I have only learned a little origami. I am all about stamps, inks, cards and scrapbook pages, using Stampin' Up! products, though I have made boxes and gift bags and party favours. One of the most popular 3d items on my site are the paper butterflies, which are much simpler to make than this horse looks.

My other 3d paper projects are listed on my 3-d paper projects page.

Thank you for sending me the photo of your horse. That makes it easier for me to see what you are wanting to do.

I did type '3d origami horse instructions' into Google and came up with pages of pictures, videos and instructions for making similar horses. The instructions on those sites would be much more specific than I can give you.

Thank you for asking me about the horse and sharing the photo with me though. I never would have seen it if you had not done that ☺

Happy folding!

Susan

Heya!

I was searching the internet for a good 3d origami kiwi and I found yours and absolutely loved it. This link led me to your side. But I cant seem to find it.

I want to make a kiwi for my boyfriend for Christmas since he absolutely adores kiwis (bird and fruit :3).

Can you maybe tell me where I can find instructions on how to make one?

I would be really thankful!

Hi

Thank you for thinking of my site when searching for a pattern to make an origami kiwi bird or fruit. I am so sorry, I have not studied origami very much. I have other items of a 3-d nature on my site, some of which I added in pictures above, but I have not ever made a 3-d kiwi of any kind.

Perhaps you saw this origami project on another site? Sometimes sites have similar names but different endings on the URL.

You can check out my own brand of 3-d paper crafts by searching through the projects linked on this page:

I hope you find something you like in time for Christmas!

3-d Origami Strawberry

I have been trying to find your instructions for your 3d origami strawberry, but cannot locate it. Could you please help me.

Thank you.

Hi Frances

I am sorry but I currently do very little origami. Perhaps you saw the project you want on another website?

I will have a think now about what origami projects I might have on my own site. Perhaps you will like one of them.

Strawberries have not figured too high as subjects for my papercraft project list either. I do have some ATCs with stamped strawberries on them, and have made a few cards with the Stampin' Up! Fruit Stand designer series paper and stamp set and there are strawberries on that. I have included a picture of a strawberry card and a strawberry ATC I made for you so you can see better the type of crafting I usually do.

The only origami projects I have on this site so far are the paper roses and the paper ball ones. I added a photo of the paper ball for you.

You can almost count the paper butterflies as origami as they can be made from one piece of paper. I added them to the picture list too.

You can also make my Christmas Stars by paper folding, but they are not true origami as I made them by stamping then cutting them out with a Big Shot Machine die which also scores the fold lines.

Other than these, I don't remember any other origami projects on my particular website.

I might try my hand at origami more seriously one day so do check back in with me later.

I am sorry I cannot help you more today and wish you success in finding the pattern you seek.

Happy searching
