Plain white container turned into lovely trinket box

I had a cardboard round container that had a lid on it and that was plain white. I turned it into a trinket box for a friend for her birthday. I put some bath fizzes and a Valentine's pin inside as part of the gift. I didn't even wrap it because I thought the outside was just so pretty the way that it was. I used left over scrapbooking paper to cover the out side of the container and then I decorated the top with some left over pink, red, white and gold buttons. I topped it off with a pink bow. This could also have been used as a gift for Valentine's Day. You could fill it up with homemade candy, cookies or some jewelry.

Judy, this is just lovely! I like the way you have decorated this box. Your friend must have been over the moon to receive it. You are so right, it didn't need to be wrapped at all. And it is a gift that gives twice. Your friend now has her birthday gifts AND a lovely box to display. How good is that?

Thank you so much for taking the time to show me your beautiful altered art box :) Come back again when you can!

Happy Paper Crafting
